Jackson County celebrates its Bicentennial along with the state, for they were both formed the same year. This project is a timeline highlighting interesting moments and people in Jackson County, IN. The timeline will be a permanent installation at the Jackson County History Center and digital copies will be available at county libraries, schools and websites. This timeline points out some famous, infamous and inspiring people from Jackson County. It shows pivotal events that set the course for the whole state.
