Legacy Projects > Monroe County Celebrates Indiana’s 200th Birthday Monroe County Celebrates Indiana’s 200th Birthday

An information booth will be set up at the entrance to the Commercial Building on the fairgrounds. It will be manned by members of the Monroe County Historical Society the entire week of the Monroe County Fair. The goal is to promote how Monroe County and our surrounding counties have contributed to history of Indiana over the past 200 years. We will also be encouraging the public to visit the historical sites in our area.
