A broadcast documentary & online web-series, BELLWETHER will explore America in 2016 thru stories & voices from the one place that always votes for the winning president: Terre Haute.

Since 1888, Terre Haute & Vigo County has picked the winner in every presidential election except two. BELLWETHER builds on fascination in this phenomenon to cover the 2016 campaign, without advocacy or partisanship, thru the eyes of these Hoosiers. Throughout Indiana’s bicentennial year we’ll focus on people & places in Vigo that reflect factors shaping American outlook today. Online, we’ll connect these stories to social media, data & opinion polls so audiences can investigate what makes this place “the great predictor” and if they’ll do it again in 2016.
