Legacy Projects > Newport Antique Auto Hill Climb Indiana State Flag Project Newport Antique Auto Hill Climb Indiana State Flag Project

By displaying and celebrating Indiana’s Flag, we hope to increase awareness of our state’s history and legacy, as well as celebrate Newport’s part of that history, particularly as it pertains to automobile development. The 700+ drivers/owners who participate in the Newport Antique Auto Hill Climb and car show will receive a “window flag” of the Indiana State Flag. Cars from Indiana manufacturers will pay $16 registration fee rather than $25. Indiana flags will be added to the U.S. Flags flown around the Courthouse Square during the summer months.
