Bicentennial Sulphur Well Park is the rebirth of a park established long ago as a gathering place for the people of Orleans and visitors to the town. Once the site of a very popular sulphur well, where citizens gathered for picnics and town events, the property has fallen into disuse and contains little to provide recreation or fitness facilities. This project will completely revamp the park, providing a walking trail, updated playground, informational historical marker, resting and green spaces. A shelter house is planned during 2016, with public support during our own bicentennial celebration in 2015.
