Indiana students in grades 9-12 are eligible to participate along with their teacher/mentor in the World Food Prize (WFP) Youth Institute at Purdue by completing a research paper on food security in a developing country. While at Purdue students will present their research papers with a 3-5 minute presentation on Thursday evening. Five students will be chosen as Indiana Delegates and will be invited to attend the WFP Global Youth Institute in Des Moines, Iowa in mid-October. Friday is devoted to hands on learning sessions, and interaction with the WFP Laureates and other participants.
