Visit the Tax Library
The Tax Library is a great place to learn more about Indiana taxes. Information Bulletins offer official guidance and information on a wide range of tax types and are categorized into three groups:
Departmental Notices are intended to notify the public about tax enactments, tax rate changes and other DOR information. They do not express legal interpretations.
DOR updates bulletins when information changes and create additional ones when new policies go into effect. You can subscribe to get email updates for changes to Information Bulletins and Departmental Notices through GovDelivery.
State Budget
The Budget Agency facilitates the processes of revenue forecasting and budget development and implementation. The agency is also responsible for evaluating the fiscal and policy impacts of legislative proposals and making this information available to decision makers. Each biennium, the agency compiles fiscal data from state agencies and works with the legislature to develop the State’s budget. The Budget Agency posts the Biennium budget and Budget Information, including Revenue Data, online.
As an administrative agency, DOR cannot answer budget questions. More information can be found through the Indiana Office of Management & Budget.
Federal Taxes: The IRS
DOR cannot provide information on federal tax matters. Visit IRS.gov for more information.
