You can request a penalty abatement with the Indiana Department of Revenue by using one of the methods below:
Log in to your INTIME account. Under “All Actions,” select “Legal protests and abatements,” then select “Submit penalty abatement request.”
Provide your completed Form PEN-1 to DOR by mail to the appropriate tax type address on the form.
