Public Safety Identification Numbers

Public Safety Identification Numbers (PSIDs) are used by the Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS) to identify public safety personnel for training and certifications.

  • Do not use this application if you already have a PSID.
  • Do not submit more than one application. Please allow seven business days for processing. If you do not receive an email at the address you provided in the application within seven business days, email psidquestions@dhs.in.gov instead of resubmitting an application.
