Empowering Our Youth: Grant County Sheriff's Office Girl's Camp from July 30th to August 2nd
At the Grant County Sheriff's Office, we believe in empowering our youth and fostering strong connections within our community. Our future lies in the hands of our young people, and it is essential for the young ladies in our community to know that they have a place in the field of law enforcement.
We are excited to announce the first-ever Girl's Camp at the Grant County Sheriff's Office! This camp is designed for girls aged 10 to 14, providing them with a unique opportunity to experience what law enforcement professionals do in our community. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, learn about the various roles within law enforcement, and build confidence in their abilities.
Join us in this exciting initiative to inspire and empower the next generation of female leaders in law enforcement. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that every young girl in our community knows she has a place and a voice in our law enforcement family.
For more information contact Detention Corporal Erika Treon at etreon@grantcounty.in.gov or Detention Deputy Venna Lindvall at vlindvall@grantcounty.in.gov! Let's empower our young ladies and shape a brighter future together!
