The dental plan remains the same for the 2025 plan year. Your diagnostic and preventive services such as teeth cleanings, periodic oral exam and bitewing X-rays are covered at 100 percent when using an in-network provider. Other in-network services such as fillings, crowns and root canals are covered at 80 percent.
You can realize the greatest savings by going to an in-network dentist. While network dentists sign a contract with anthem to limit fees, nonparticipating dentists do not have limits on the amount they can charge you for services. If you decide to go to a nonparticipating dentist, be sure you understand your potential out-of-pocket costs before you receive services.
A list of dentists within the Dental Complete network can be found by logging onto www.Anthem.com. When logged in, click on the “Find Care & Cost” link on the right side of the page. Add your address or zip code and search for “dentist.” Scroll down and filter for “Plan Network” on the left side. Select “Dental Network”.
