
The Indiana Grants Management Collaborative (INGMC) is a volunteer-based forum created by, and for, state agency grants management professionals to network, share best practices, and exchange ideas to enhance the grants management landscape across Indiana. The Collaborative consists of the following subcommittees.
COMMUNICATIONS
The Communications Subcommittee spearheads the implementation of the Collaborative’s engagement strategy by providing support in all areas of communication throughout Indiana’s grants management landscape. This includes, but is not limited to, INGMC quarterly newsletters, resources, and other content to highlight:
- Best practices
- Policy updates
- Solutions to common concerns
- Organizational success stories
MENTORSHIP EMPOWERMENT EDUCATION TRAINING (MEET)
The MEET subcommittee empowers State of Indiana Grant Professionals with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to excel in their roles. This subcommittee also strives to create continuous education opportunities within the grants management landscape by:
- Promoting organizational success through collaboration, mentorship, and impactful training across the state
- Enhancing skill development, and
- Supporting Career growth and development opportunities
POLICY & COMPLIANCE
The Policy and Compliance subcommittee provides a forum for grant management professionals to discuss the systems related to managing grant compliance and the opportunity to become a proactive voice in discussions surrounding grant policy and compliance by:
- Gaining further insight into the legislation, statutes, and changes to federal grant policies
- Creating strategies for implementing grants policy initiatives and best practices
- Using the FMC 4.1 and SB5 to optimize grantor program management for recipients and subrecipients.
- Developing a Compliance Glossary to support Grant Managers with Compliance Basics
PROCESSES & FORMS
The Processes and Forms Subcommittee coordinates, creates, and develops best practices for the processes and systems used to manage grants. Additionally, this subcommittee collects and disseminates:
- Forms
- Contracts
- Memorandums of understanding (MOU’s) standards
- Templates and additional resources for navigating the grants management landscape.
