Non-24 Sleep Wake Disorder is a rare circadian rhythm disorder that causes sleep disturbances which can have significant health consequences. For people who are blind or who have low vision or some light perception, their master body clock can be out of alignment with the day and night cycles of our 24 hour world. There is a high prevalence in the blind community but awareness remains low, including among healthcare providers. Learn what the symptoms are and why it occurs in the blind and visually impaired.
