Overview - How is our partnership developing?
Background:
- The Indiana Office of Technology's (IOT) mission is to provide cost-effective, secure, consistent, reliable enterprise-technology services and products to its partner agencies so they can better serve Hoosier taxpayers.
- IOT is the central IT Office in the State of Indiana, working as a service provider, governance body and enterprise architecture for the State of IN government agencies.
- IOT and MuleSoft partner on the following:
- APIs as an enterprise service
- security
- scalability
- reliability
- re-use / speed of development
At the end of 2023, we successfully accomplished:
- Unlock 2 - 3 major systems/data with APIs (APP Network, Peoplesoft, VA data, etc.)
- API Strategy revised and published - Less Technical
- Enterprise API onboarding process published
- C4E scaled to consumer-based model
- Centralized inventory, monitoring and metrics visualization
- Data governance, messaging, policy, etc.
At the end of 2024, we will be proud of: (to be reviewed)
- Unlock 4 - 7 major systems/data with APIs (APP Network, Peoplesoft, VA data, etc.)
- API Strategy revised and published - Less Technical
- Enterprise API onboarding process published
- C4E scaled to consumer-based model
- Centralized inventory, monitoring and metrics visualization
- Data governance, messaging, policy, etc.
