What is a CMS?

A CMS (or Content Mangement System) is a user-friendly tool to easily manage and maintain your website. A CMS allows users to login to a back-end system that provides simple tools to construct entire websites without knowing any code associated. IN.gov has developed a customized CMS that allows for state agencies, towns, counties, departments, and other municipalities to quickly promote their content on IN.gov.
