The Indiana Civil Rights Commission, the MLK Holiday Commission, and Indiana Black Expo, Inc. were happy to host their Annual Days of Service.
On Tues. September 17, 2024 and Wed. September 18, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 4 PM, ICRC hosted two days of community service along MLK St. in the Northwest Neighborhood in Indianapolis, IN. ICRC collaborated with members of the community, the Northwest Landing Association, and the City of Indianapolis to identify a variety of beautification projects in order to improve the neighborhood’s quality of life.
Volunteer Check-In began at 8:30 AM each day at the Watkins Park Family Center. Light breakfast refreshments were served from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. A boxed lunch was provided in the afternoon.
