FROG Fund: Child Care Vouchers

Due to action taken by Governor Braun, and upon review from the State Budget Committee,an additional $200 million in funding for new CCDF child care vouchers is available through the Financial Responsibility and Growth (FROG) Fund. With this funding, the Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning will resume enrolling CCDF voucher-eligible children, in late May 2026, and increase the number of CCDF enrollments by 14,000 to a projected level of 57,000.

This new funding will help more families access safe, reliable child care across Indiana.

OECOSL will begin by reaching out to families in approved priority groups first. These groups include:

  • Siblings of children already receiving vouchers
  • Infants
  • Toddlers
  • Preschoolers
  • Foster Care/Kinship placements
  • Children with special needs
  • Families experiencing homelessness
  • Families involved with Child Protective Services
  • Children of Child Care Workers
  • Families referred by Ivy Tech
