Septic System Installers
There is currently no requirement for registration of septic installers in Monroe County. Requirements only apply to people installing specific types of septic systems where a certificate is required by the manufacturer. Some examples of this would be the Presby AES, Infiltrator ATL, and Eljen GSF septic systems.
Monroe County does maintain a list of local septic installers for convenience to the general public. This list can be found here: Monroe County Septic Installer’s List 2026
