Nursing Dept Fees
No child will be refused vaccine due to inability to pay
For children with Medicaid: There is no charge for children with Medicaid. Please bring your child’s Medicaid card.
For children with private insurance: If insurance covers the cost there is no out of pocket expense for vaccines. Please bring your child’s insurance card and the name and birthdate of the policy holder with you.
For children that are uninsured: The Health Department provides immunizations at no charge for children who are uninsured, underinsured, or an American Indian or an Alaskan native. We administer Vaccines for Children (VFC) which covers children from birth through 18 years of age. Those without insurance, those whose insurance does not pay for vaccines, and those who are American Indian or Alaskan Native are asked to pay an administration fee of $12.00 per vaccination. However, no child will be denied vaccine for inability to pay an administration fee.
For adults with private insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare: No out of pocket expense if insurance covers the cost of vaccine. Please bring your insurance card and the name and birthdate of the policy holder with you.
For adults who are uninsured: Most adult vaccines are available at no cost for uninsured or under-insured adults through our 317 Program. Not all vaccines are available under this program but most are available for purchase. We ask for $12.00 per vaccine as an administration fee.
