The Cass County Soil and Water Conservation District, a political subdivision of the State of Indiana, is managed by five supervisors, who are elected by Cass County Landowners. Supervisors serve without pay and are responsible for developing the local programs, obtaining and disbursing funds, and setting priorities. They also have the authority to hire district staff and oversee all district activities.
Our Purpose
The Cass County Soil and Water Conservation District works cooperatively with the Indiana State Department of Agriculture, the Natural Resources Conservation Service, the Indiana Conservation Partnership, and local entities to assist landowners in the planned management of land and water.
