InTERS is the platform used to collect and manage Indiana's CTE data. Data inputted within InTERS is provided to the U.S. Dept. of Education for required Perkins federal reporting and is used for several other state purposes, including verifying completion of certain graduation requirements and reimbursement or industry certification exams. Check the site often as new information about reporting may be posted. InTERS can be accessed here.
The CTE Data Explorer provides a central place to find data related to CTE. Features of the Data Explorer include:
- State and local results around key performance metrics, such as work-based learning participation, postsecondary credit attainment, and earning of industry credentials.
- Individual student information that allows counselors and others to track students’ progress towards Graduation Pathways and other priority outcomes (for authorized users only)
- Key CTE resources important to the implementation of secondary CTE programs of study
The Data Explorer also includes a Program Quality Report that assesses programs on several key elements, allowing users to review and compare CTE program outcomes between programs, across schools or districts, or to state-level data.
