Kevin Garvey
Commissioner
Kevin Garvey is the Commissioner for the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles. He brings a passion for innovation, improvement, and the 1500 employees at the BMV. He started at the agency in 2008 as the Director of Supply Chain Management. Over the years, Kevin has held various operational positions with increasing responsibility, including serving as Chief of Staff prior to being appointed as Commissioner.
A native Hoosier, Kevin grew up on the west side of Indianapolis and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Kevin is also heavily involved in philanthropy and advocacy for Pediatric Cancer Research and Pediatric Palliative Care. He is co-founder of the Mighty Mason Foundation and is also a founding member of the Indiana Pediatric Cancer Coalition.
