A Day in the Life of a Branch
We have an incredible team working across more than 125 locations in our state. Whether a branch is in the heart of a busy community or serves a more rural community, BMV associates are dedicated to helping Hoosiers and Hoosier businesses!
BMV branches offer a fast paced work environment and opportunity for career growth. All branches support the local community with walk-in service, and typically wait time is less than 20 minutes.
A couple of helpful notes if you are considering joining the BMV or if you are planning a transactional visit to the branch:
- If you need to take a computer-based knowledge exam, make sure you arrive at least 30 minutes before the branch closes.
- If you need to take a driving exam, make sure you schedule an appointment through your myBMV account.
- Branches vary hours and days of operations, but you will always find a location open somewhere in the state, Monday through Saturday.
- If your location is busy or you find an appointment at an alternative branch, you are not required to visit the nearest branch to you!
