Indiana Historical Society
State employees receive a 50% discount on admission to the museum, just make sure to have your badge with you to show that you work for the state. Current admission for adults is $15, so that makes tickets $7.50 with the discount.

Indianapolis Zoo
Discounted admission tickets to the Indianapolis Zoo are now available for State employees and their guests.
State of Indiana employees must access the link within the promotional flyer to purchase tickets. Note: You must be on the State network to access this link. Please email spdcommunications@spd.in.gov if you have issues accessing the flyer or link. Tickets purchased via this link do not require timed reservations. The discount offers an average savings of over 35% per ticket on weekends.
2026 pricing for State of Indiana employees:
- March 19, 2026 to January 3, 2027: $22.75 for adults, $18.75 for youth (age 2-12)

Indiana Repertory Theater
State employees can receive half-price tickets ($25 minimum price on tickets after the discount) for themselves and their families for all Indiana Repertory Theater (IRT) performances. Please call the Ticket Office at 317-635-5252 to book your performance. This discount does not apply to online purchases.
State employee identification is required to take advantage of these discounts. The IRT will request identification to be shown in-person when receiving your tickets at the Ticket Office.

Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites
State of Indiana employees save at the Indiana State Museum & Historic Sites!
- $10 off new memberships and $5 off admission. Visit the ticket counter or call 317-232-1637 to purchase.
- 10% gift shop discount at all 12 locations. Must show your state ID badge at the register to receive the discount.
- 10% discount on event rental space at the Indiana State Museum and all 11 State Historic Sites. Contact Erica Montgomery at eventplanning@indianamuseum.org or 317-619-2705 to schedule.
- Rental fee waived on Monday – Friday rentals for daytime meetings in the Admin Conference room (6 people or less) during business hours (pending availability). They can also only be booked 2 weeks in advance. Larger spaces would receive 50% discount off the daytime rental fees and be booked at any time. Spaces may be found at www.indianamuseum.org/rentals. - $2 discount on tickets at IMAX Theatre at the Indiana State Museum. Tickets must be purchased in-person. Must show your state ID badge to receive the discount.
- 10% off at the Farmers Market Café. Just show your state ID. The café is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. View the café menu.
Marengo Cave
State of Indiana employees will receive group rates on combo adult walking tours. Designated a US National Landmark, Marengo Cave offers two easy walking tours.
- Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily with extended summer hours
- Located at 400 E. SR 64 in Marengo
- State employees will need to present proof of employment with the state (i.e. state ID badge)
- The discount is also extendable to employees' family members as well

The Nook: Indiana State Library Book Shop
A little-known resource available to state employees, as well as the public, is the Nook Gift Shop, located in the Indiana State Library building. Not only is it convenient for people working in the Indiana Government Center, but the Gift Shop also offers state employees a 20% discount.
The Gift Shop features resources about Indiana, and many books are written by Hoosiers. Topics include history, politics, government, fiction, nature, biography, and art. There are also books for children. Other items of interest include t-shirts, tote bags, postcards, state flags, and state seal stickers, to name a few.
For those interested in shopping at the Gift Shop, it is located at 315 West Ohio Street, on the first floor of the State Library Building (Behind the lobby desk). Hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
