January 2, 2026 - The National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM®) has officially changed its name to the National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM™). All NCCAOM credentials that were approved before the name change will still be accepted. Anyone who is credentialed after January 2nd, 2026 will be credentialed under NCBAHM.
