Amy Osborne
Executive Director
Amy Osborne serves as the Executive Director of Indiana’s Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) leading all operations for the agency.
Osborne has dedicated the majority of her career to public service, working within a variety of state government agencies including the Secretary of State, Department of Education, and Public Access Counselor. In 2018, Osborne graduated from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. She then began her legal career in private practice before returning to public service at the Attorney General’s office. Prior to her current role, Osborne served as Section Chief of Licensing Enforcement for the Indiana Attorney General’s office.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Osborne is a member of the 2008 class of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service series and is a current member of the Indiana State Bar Association Leadership Development Academy. She is also actively involved in her local high school as the varsity volleyball coach and member of the booster club. Osborne lives with her family in Hancock County.

Deputy Director
Audrea Weir serves as the Deputy Director of the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA), bringing a comprehensive legal and operational background to the agency's executive leadership team. Her extensive trajectory within the agency includes serving as the Director of the Indiana State Board of Nursing, as well as holding key leadership roles as Associate General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel / Director of Operations. Her expansive professional background spans multiple facets of healthcare law and regulatory enforcement. Prior to joining the PLA, she spent several years representing clients as an attorney in private practice law firm setting. Her foundational experiences in state service and advocacy include serving as a policy specialist with the Indiana Primary Health Care Association, working with the Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) to assist healthcare providers enrolled in the Indiana Health Coverage Programs, and investigating licensed professionals within the Licensing Enforcement division at the Office of the Indiana Attorney General.
Audrea earned her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law with a specialized concentration in health law. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in legal studies from Ball State University.
