The following persons have indicated that they are available for genealogical or general historical research on a fee basis.
All arrangements for research must be made directly with individuals on the list. Patrons and researchers should have a clear written agreement in advance as to the nature of the work to be done, whether the patron will be billed on an hourly or an all-inclusive basis (and at what intervals), and who will be responsible for the researcher's expenses. Patrons should bear in mind that researchers charge for their time and cannot guarantee the outcome of their research efforts.
The Indiana State Library neither endorses the researchers on the list, nor assumes responsibility for the researchers' availability, schedule of fees, or research results.

We try to get at least 6 generations back and add Historical context and any family history that we find. We like to build a tellable story of the lives of their ancestors. thru records. Make it a story that they, the client can share to their family- and back it with the facts. We are willing to travel to the borderline states for fee. But we are skilled researchers who have a web of contacts.
