2026-2027 Road Salt Quantity Purchase Agreement (QPA)
The 2026-2027 Road Salt QPA information is available to use. Please keep the following information in mind, as this year has been challenging due to a shortage of salt.
The following INDOT districts did NOT receive a bid this year:
- District 30 – untreated salt
- District 40 – treated salt
- District 50 – treated salt
- District 60 – treated salt
Vendors typically can accommodate some orders for groups that did not participate in the March pre-order. However, with the supply shortages this year, this is not often the case. If you are unable to order from the winning vendors this season, please contact Mitchell Roelecke for a list of alternative vendors.
Pre-ordering is more important than ever. If you did not receive email communication about this year’s road salt QPA, please contact Mitchell Roelecke to be added to the email communication list for next year. We anticipate reaching out to all interested parties in February 2027.
