Kokomo Opalescent Glass is a 125-year-old manufacturer of colored glass for art and architecture, with worldwide distribution and a strong commitment to education. The company has created a colored glass piece that will hang in the building’s entryway. Chancellor David Bathe and Michelle Simmons, president of the Kokomo campus, will dedicate the piece, which will stand as a reminder to everyone who enters the campus that the State of Indiana has a proud history of higher education and will continue to cherish education through art and entrepreneurship.
