Bloomfield Elementary students teamed up against teachers and torchbearers in an Indiana trivia game during a pep session the morning the torch relay passed through Greene County. Sixth grade students battled torch bearers, while fifth grade students battled teachers. This all took place during a pep session, including grades kindergarten through six. All Bloomfield Elementary School students were present along the route as the torch passed by. Each torchbearer, after being introduced by the elementary principal, explained why they liked living in Greene County. Rene Stanley and Valeri Beamer of the Bicentennial Commission spoke at the pep rally.
