This legacy project protects 39 acres of old upland oak woodland with native Indiana wildflowers such as shooting star, prairie violet and fire pink. Of special interest is a pioneer cemetery on the property. There was once a Quaker church on this land, which is part of the old Limberlost Swamp. Friends plan to work with nature preserves to create trails, parking and historic signs.
