In an effort to preserve the unique history and aesthetic qualities of the Hendricks County Courthouse, all public areas of the interior were restored to their original finishes and appearance. This included plaster and marble repair and rediscovering and duplicating the original paint colors and stencil details. All the original light fixtures with brass bases and one-of-a-kind glass globes were repaired, polished and reused. The stained glass skylight over rotunda was painstakingly cleaned and restored to its original appearance. The Circuit Courtroom was fully restored.
