Captain Harmon Aughe Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution hosts a biannual tea. DAR celebrates historic preservation, education and patriotism. To celebrate Indiana’s Bicentennial was a natural for the theme of our 2016 tea. The May date placed it early in the year of Indiana’s celebration. The guest speaker was René Stanley from the Bicentennial Commission. Members of a String Ensemble from Lafayette Jeff High School’s orchestra provided music related to Indiana’s history.
