Teddy Bear Camp

The Division of Historic Preservation & Archaeology hosts Teddy Bear Camp each May during National Historic Preservation Month. The camp is for all stuffed animals, not just Teddy bears, belonging to children ages 5-12.

This year, Teddy Bear Camp is driving the National Road!

The “campers” will visit a variety of places during the event to "learn" about history, architecture, archaeology, and historic preservation. Photos of camp adventures will be posted to DHPA’s Facebook page throughout camp. At the end of camp, stuffed animals and their owners become official "Junior Indiana Preservationists" and receive a certificate. Additionally, digital photo albums of the stuffies' adventures will be emailed to parents/guardians after camp.
