Payments & Refunds

The Indiana Supreme Court and its agencies often collect payments from members of the public, attorneys, mediators, and others who interact with our judicial branch. Payments may include registration fees, filing fees, costs associated with cases, administrative costs, and late fees and may be made electronically or by traditional methods like paper checks. If you make a payment to the Court or one of its agencies that is more than the amount owed, the following overpayment policy applies.

Overpayment Policy

Overpayments of $10.00 or less will be retained as revenue. All overpayments of $10.01 or more will be returned to the payer after a twenty-one day waiting period unless the bank indicates that the check has not cleared.
