Robing Ceremony of the Honorable Paul A. Felix
The robing ceremony for Judge Paul A. Felix will take place on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. EST in the Supreme Court Courtroom, on the 3rd floor of the State House. The public is invited to watch a webcast of the ceremony via the following link: https://www.in.gov/courts/video/live/supreme.html.
The ceremony will include remarks from Joe Heerens, General Counsel for The Honorable Eric J. Holcomb, Chief Justice Loretta H. Rush, Court of Appeals of Indiana Chief Judge Robert R. Altice, Jr., and Judge Richard Campbell, Judge of Hamilton Superior 4. Chief Judge Altice will administer the oath with the assistance of Judge Felix’s wife and children. Judge Cale J. Bradford and Judge Rudolph R. Pyle, III will assist in the ceremonial robing.
In June, Governor Holcomb named Judge Felix to succeed Judge Margret G. Robb. Judge Felix was sworn in at a private ceremony on July 28, 2023 and officially began his duties as judge on that date.

The Court of Appeals of Indiana is the second-highest court in the state, hearing appeals from the state’s trial courts. The 15 members of the Court issued approximately 2,000 written opinions in 2022. A decision is final unless granted further review by the Indiana Supreme Court.
