Robing Ceremony of the Honorable Dana J. Kenworthy
The robing ceremony for Judge Dana J. Kenworthy will take place on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. EST in the Supreme Court Courtroom, on the 3rd floor of the State House. The public is invited to watch a webcast of the ceremony.
The ceremony will include remarks from Joe Heerens, General Counsel for The Honorable Eric J. Holcomb, Chief Justice Loretta H. Rush, Court of Appeals of Indiana Chief Judge Robert R. Altice, Jr., and James Luttrull, Jr., Former Grant County Prosecutor and current Director of Institutional Response, GRACE. In December, Governor Holcomb named Judge Kenworthy to succeed Judge Derek R. Molter, who was appointed to the Supreme Court in June 2022 and sworn in September 1. Judge Kenworthy was sworn in at a private ceremony on January 18, 2023 and officially began her duties as judge on that date. Her appointment to the Court resulted in its first-ever female majority.
