Larry L. Morris became the Court Administrator on Oct. 1, 2015, after serving the court as a judicial law clerk for 24 years, including 22 years as a law clerk for Judge Ezra H. Friedlander (retired).
Morris graduated from Lincoln Christian University, IL, with a B.A. in theology in 1979 and in 1983 earned an M.A. in human development counseling from the University of Illinois-Springfield. He obtained his law degree in 1991 from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where he served as articles editor on the Indiana University Law Review.
Morris is an adjunct faculty member at the Robert H. McKinney School of Law. The court administrator provides a full range of administrative services to the 15-member court. Specific duties include court legal services, budgeting, personnel management, facilities management, and implementation of the new digital case management and pending e-filing systems. The administrator works for the entire court, under the direction of the chief judge.
Morris lives in Brownsburg with his wife, Sherri. He has two children: Jason Morris, of San Juan Capistrano, CA, and Nicole Norrick, of Brownsburg, IN.
