The Indiana State Excise Police are the law enforcement division of the Indiana Alcohol & Tobacco Commission and are fully certified police officers with powers across the state of Indiana. The primary mission of the agency is to provide professional and efficient law enforcement service with an emphasis on Indiana's alcohol & tobacco laws.
Persons interested in a career with the Indiana State Excise Police should review the basic applicant qualifications listed on our Employment Information page. If you meet the qualifications and would like to participate in the current hiring process, complete and submit an Employment Notification Form prior to 12/31/2025. Once a notification form is submitted, your information will be retained indefinitely. DO NOT resubmit unless your contact information has changed since your last submission.
