Announcements

  • 6/27/2024 - Indiana State Law Requires Written Listing and Buyer Agency Agreements between Real Estate Brokers and their Clients, Effective July 1, 2024
  • Effective July 1, 2024, we will no longer accept paper applications for transfers:
    • The following transfers must be completed on INBIZ.  Please sign in to your Access Indiana account at access.in.gov and click on the INBIZ link.
      • Active to Unassigned
      • Active to Inactive
      • Active to Referral
      • Unassigned to Active
      • Inactive to Referral
      • Referral to Inactive
    • At this time the following must be completed through a paper application. They will be available online soon:

      • Managing broker wants to transfer out of the MB position or company.
      • Broker is wanting to be the managing broker of a company.
      • Inactive to Active status
      • Referral to Active
  • Please note that the Real Estate Commission does not have reciprocity agreements with any state. If you are actively licensed in another state, you can submit your application via Endorsement to request that the Commission review your application and other state license information to see if it is equivalent to Indiana’s requirements. This process may take a while, as a Commission Member must review your licensing state’s requirements and then make a recommendation to the full Commission. The Commission will then determine if they will approve your application or not. If they do not approve it, you will be given the option to change to the Examination obtained by method. Please note that this is not a fast process.
