3/19/2026 - Real Estate Reassignments have transferred from INBiz to MyLicense One. Notice was sent to all Real Estate Brokers and Real Estate Companies. Any pending INBiz transfer must still be completed in INBiz.
2/21/2025 - Beginning on February 21. 2025, Indiana Real Estate and Appraiser examinations for March 3, 2025 and beyond may be scheduled through Pearson VUE by clicking here or by calling 800-274-2717.
Real Estate Transfers
Real Estate Broker transfer services have moved from INBiz to MyLicense One.
Real Estate Broker transfer and status change requests (Reassignment) must be submitted online through MyLicense One.
Please ensure you have linked your license on the Dashboard.
Online reassignment services include:
- Transfer between brokerages
- License status changes (Active, Referral, Inactive, or Unassigned)
- Activation of a license from Referral or Inactive status
- Sole Proprietor transferring into a brokerage as an associate broker
- Removal of associated broker(s) by Company or Managing Broker after employment ends.
At this time, the following requests must still be submitted using a paper application (online availability coming soon):
- A Managing Broker transferring out of the Managing Broker position of a Company
- Notification of Broker Company Closing
- Branch Manager reappointment
Reciprocity
Please note that the Real Estate Commission does not have reciprocity agreements with any state. If you are actively licensed in another state, you can submit your application via Endorsement to request that the Commission review your application and other state license information to see if it is equivalent to Indiana’s requirements. This process may take a while, as a Commission Member must review your licensing state’s requirements and then make a recommendation to the full Commission. The Commission will then determine if they will approve your application or not. If they do not approve it, you will be given the option to change to the Examination obtained by method. Please note that this is not a fast process.

Board Approved Pre-Licensing Education Providers (Real Estate Schools) and Continuing Education Providers may be found using the Free Search and Verify page.
CE Providers
Instructions on how to register and submit the continuing education information.Below is a list of continuing education providers with their courses as approved by the Indiana Real Estate Commission.
Approved CE Courses and CE Providers List
Continuing education courses can be approved by the Commission, or by any "approved organization." An approved organization is any of the following:
(1) United States Department of Education.
(2) Council on Post-Secondary Education.
(3) Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals.
(4) Joint Commission on Healthcare Organizations.
(5) Federal, state, and local government agencies.
(6) A college or other teaching institution accredited by the United States Department of Education or the Council on Post-Secondary Education.
(7) A national organization of practitioners whose members practicing in Indiana are subject to regulation by a board or agency regulating a profession or occupation under this title.
(8) A national, state, district, or local organization that operates as an affiliated entity under the approval of an organization listed in subdivisions (1) through (7).
(9) An internship or a residency program conducted in a hospital that has been approved by an organization listed in subdivisions (1) through (7).
(10) Any other organization or individual approved by the board.When searching for continuing education courses, please be sure the course meets one of the above qualifications. A course provider must be able to provide information on whether the course is approved by the Commission, or by an approved organization. The Commission only retains the list of courses approved by it, and does not maintain a list of courses approved by one of the above organizations. Only courses approved by one of these two methods will qualify towards renewal of your professional license.
