A settlement agreement between the OUCC and the City of Columbus on the City's water rates and finances received Commission approval on July 30, 2025.

The IURC held a Mar. 10, 2025 public field hearing in Columbus. The OUCC issued a media release inviting public comments on Feb. 25, 2025.
Columbus' previous water rates took effect in 2021.
Municipal sewer utilities are exempt from IURC oversight. Locally elected city and town councils approve their rates.
