Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) sought Commission approval to operate several new generation facilities and collect costs through rates:
- Cause No. 45868 - Solar Generation
I&M is requesting approval to purchase and operate two new solar facilities in Indiana, and purchase power from two additional solar facilities. The four projects would have a total capacity of 749 megawatts.
Update (10-18-23): The IURC issued a final order in this case on Oct. 18, 2023.

The OUCC filed the following testimony on May 19, 2023, recommending the Commission approve three of the four projects proposed by the utility:
- Cause No. 45869 - Natural Gas Generation Facility
I&M is requesting IURC approval to purchase and operate a 210-megawatt natural gas-fired power plant in Wells County.
Update (8-16-23): The IURC issued a final order in this case on Aug. 16, 2023.
