- Any headlight is inoperative
- See Notes: Any defect inspector deems a violation not listed
- Wipers fail to function
- Mountings are broken or bent badly enough to inhibit proper adjustment
- There is body damage which could cause injury to persons near the bus (e.g. jagged metal edges, etc.)((Exigent circumstance can be taken into consideration to allow the bus to return home in a post crash inspection if bus is out of its district)).
- The bus body has loose, damaged or improperly aligned body parts. These would include rivets, bolts, and body panels and/or rub rails
- Any front turn signal does not function properly
- Play can be measured at one (1) location on any steering component
- Prohibited area sign is missing or obscured
- Washers do not function properly in any manner
- Universal Joint: any independent vertical movement between opposing yoke ends great than one eight (1/8) inch, any missing universal joint bearing cap, any missing, broken or loose universal joint bearing cap
- The front or rear bumper is not properly attached, missing, torn, loose, or altered.
- The latch does not secure the hood tightly
