• The reflective material is placed anywhere other than on the front and rear, or both, of the bus between the warning lamps; each side beltline, seat line, or floor line or all three (3); outlining each required emergency exit; or across the rear of the bus directly above the rear bumper.
• If bus manufactured after 5-2-1994, positive door opening device is missing or fails to operate properly

• If no emergency exit roof hatch (or required amount see IAC 575 1-9-83) is installed on buses built after 1-1-2015
• The bus with a body build date of January 1, 2006 or after is not equipped with the noise suppression switch. EXEMPTION Type A buses - w/out noise making devices other OEM accessories not including two-way, AM/FM, Satellite, or similar.
• Does not have four combination red brake lamps, two with minimum 38 sq inch illuminated (7” round) and two with a minimum of 12 sq inches illuminated area(4” round), mounted on the rear of the body between the belt line and floor line
• There are loose items that would create a hazard. (Broom, Scraper, Items on dash etc.)
