The Integrated Public Safety Commission adopted the ten (10) IDHS Homeland Security Districts as the basis for expanding and improving regional and local interoperable communications governance and planning.
Each of the ten Districts has one Communications Representative who serves as a voting member of the Statewide Interoperability Executive Committee (SIEC). The SIEC also has members from state agencies, local Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) agencies, and non-governmental representatives.
The SIEC serves as the formal advisory committee to the Integrated Public Safety Commission (IPSC).
The SIEC has quarterly in-person meetings on the third Tuesday of every third month, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time. The SIEC also participates in monthly conference calls.
