Summer Conference | June 18-20, Embassy Suites by Hilton South Bend at Notre Dame | *REGISTRATION OPEN: The annual summer conference is open to all Indiana prosecutors. Summer Conference often includes national-level speakers on a variety of topics. This year's conference includes a half-day focused on technology. The registration deadline is May 16. The cancellation deadline is May 30. IMPORTANT: Embassy Suites by Hilton is now fully booked through the conference. Interested attendees will need to find an alternate hotel to stay at in the area. |
Office Administrators Conference |
August 5-6, French Lick Springs Hotel, French Lick | *REGISTRATION OPEN: This two-day conference brings office managers and administrative staff together for lectures and discussions about the technical aspects of a prosecutor's office. If you are an office manager or work in an administrative role in a prosecutor's office, this training is a must-attend event. Learn the ins and outs of the job, the technical aspects of prosecutor offices and have some fun along the way. The OA Seminar is FREE for the first 100 who Register. After that, the cost of the Seminar will be $100. Conference registration fee includes:

Trial Advocacy: Drugs and Impaired Driving |
August 19-21, Indianapolis | This three-day Trial Advocacy course focuses on developing courtroom skills for newer prosecutors. The course will provide training on topics important to drug and impaired driving cases, as well as instruction on general trial skills that are essential to securing guilty verdicts. Each participant will conduct several portions of a mock trial, from jury selection to closing argument. After each practical session, participants will receive feedback on their courtroom skills and suggestions to improve future performance from experienced prosecutor faculty members. This course is appropriate for Indiana prosecutors who have tried between zero (0) and seven (7) jury trials. |
Top Gun XII | September 21-26 | *Currently FULL* Presented by the IPAC and the Indiana State Police, this intensive, hands-on course explores covert drug investigations. |
Applied Professionalism |
October 24, Indianapolis | A Commission-accredited ethics course built for newly admitted attorneys needing satisfy the six-hour Applied Professionalism requirement of Admin. & Disc. Rule 29, Sec. 3(b). |
Trial Advocacy III: Jury Selection |
November 18-20, Indianapolis | Built for experienced trial attorneys, this course focuses on the latest concepts and approach to seating unbiased jurors who will work together to come to a verdict. |
Winter Conference |
December 8-10, Indianapolis | Open to all prosecutors, the Winter and Summer Conferences are the flagship courses of the IPAC's general training regimen. Winter Conference often includes national-level speakers on a variety of topics. |
