Request Process:
The Indiana Archives and Records Administration (IARA) holds the transcripts from some state schools and some closed proprietary post-secondary schools that operated in Indiana. For your convenience, we have provided contact information below for the most requested schools.
IARA holds transcripts from Indiana campuses only.
Please note that some links are external. IARA is not affiliated with Parchment.
To submit a request for a school that IARA holds, send the request to arc@iara.in.gov with a signed authorization form. The request must include the student’s full name, including any prior names, the name of the school and location of the campus, and the years the student attended.
We do not complete education verifications; however, a copy of the transcript may be purchased for a $15 per copy fee. After you have submitted your request, we will contact you with instructions to pay the $15 transcript fee.

We do not house GED records. The State of Indiana instructs those seeking GED/HISET records to submit a request through Diploma Sender.

Charter Schools: Contact your school corporation or the Indiana Charter School Board.
Religious or Faith-based Schools: Faith based schools: Contact the institution, church, or diocese regarding institutional status and student records.
Indiana School for the Blind: send an email to arc@iara.in.gov.
Indiana School for the Deaf: send an email to arc@iara.in.gov.
Morton Memorial High School: send an email to arc@iara.in.gov.
