IQIP is a 12-month process where public health representatives and VFC providers collaborate to identify QI strategies to increase vaccine uptake by improving and enhancing immunization workflow.
The Initial Site Visit

IQIP Tips
- Schedule the next vaccine with the patient prior to them leaving the office
- Provide the patient with their vaccine information
- Provide patient reminders when their next vaccine is due
- Provide positive education to patients and providers on vaccines
- Break the vaccine myths and assist patients in understanding the truth about the vaccines
