- The person must be a missing veteran at risk, as defined by IC 12-7-2-197.3, whose disappearance is the result of a physical or mental health condition that is directly related to the veteran’s military service.
- There must be enough descriptive information to believe the broadcast will help.
- Request must be recommended, and veteran at risk status verified, by law enforcement agency of jurisdiction.
- Enter the person into IDACS/NCIC with message key EME.
