The state of Indiana is proposing HIP Workforce Bridge to help Hoosiers maintain continuous health coverage while transitioning from HIP to coverage through an employer or the federal marketplace. HIP Workforce Bridge would establish a special health account to cover initial health care costs – up to $1,000 – incurred during the transition to commercial coverage. This will include premiums, deductibles, copayments and coinsurance.
